Position Overview:

We are looking for a highly experienced and dynamic AGM / GM – MICE to lead and grow our MICE division. This role requires a strong background in corporate travel, event management, client servicing, and vendor coordination. The candidate will be responsible for business growth, team management, and flawless execution of domestic and international MICE programs.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Client Acquisition:
  • Drive MICE sales strategy to acquire and retain high-value corporate clients. 
  • Identify new business opportunities and generate leads through networking and corporate outreach. 
  • Develop customized MICE proposals and deliver high-impact presentations to key decision-makers. 
  • Build strong client relationships to ensure repeat and referral business. 
Project Management & Operations: 
  • Oversee planning and execution of MICE events including conferences, incentive tours, corporate offsites, and exhibitions. 
  • Ensure timely coordination between internal departments and external partners (hotels, DMCs, transport providers, venues). 
  • Monitor budgets, timelines, and quality of service for all events and programs. 
  • Manage risk and handle escalations to ensure smooth on-ground execution. 
Team Leadership: 
  • Lead and mentor a team of MICE sales, operations, and support professionals. 
  • Set performance goals, monitor team KPIs, and ensure alignment with business objectives. 
  • Provide training and guidance to enhance team productivity and service standards.
Vendor & Partner Management:
  • Build and manage strong relationships with DMCs, hotels, airlines, and service providers across key domestic and international destinations. 
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service level agreements to ensure value and quality. 
Reporting & Strategy:
  • Track MICE trends and market movements to refine offerings and stay competitive. 
  • Prepare business reports, forecasts, and strategic inputs for top management. 
  • Ensure adherence to compliance, documentation, and customer satisfaction standards.
Key Requirements:
  • Graduate / Postgraduate in Travel, Tourism, Hospitality, or Business Administration. 
  • 12–15 years of relevant experience in MICE sales and operations, with at least 3–4 years in a leadership role. 
  • Strong client network and successful track record in handling large-scale corporate MICE programs. 
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills. 
  • Sound knowledge of domestic and international MICE destinations. 
  • Proficient in MS Office and travel-related software (CRM, ERP tools). 
  • Willingness to travel as per business needs.
